Welcome to the 7th edition of the Schow and Nerbonne, Introduction to Audiologic rehabilitation companion website. The new 7th edition text is available in both hard-copy and digital formats and this website offers instructors and students additional resources, activities, and informational links to supplement the information presented in the text. The companion website is organized by chapter and follows the organization of the text.

How to use this resource

Step 1: Obtain a copy of the new 7th Edition of Schow and Nerbonne – Introduction to Audiologic Rehabilitation text. Much of the information contained in this Pressbook is linked directly to discussions in the text and in some cases, it will be difficult understand the information if you aren’t able to reference the text.

Step 2: Read the chapter (or section in a chapter) that has the information you would like to learn. As you read, look for the tablet icon. This will alert you to supplemental information contained on this companion resouce.

Step 3: Open up this Pressbook and select the appropriate chapter to navigate to the corresponding chapter that you are reading.

Step 4: Each chapter link will have a variety of learning activities, websites (explorations), and other information that support the concepts in the text.
