8 Expectations

  • Set expectations for your chapter

    • Set the expectation early for students that would like to join your CTSO. For example, you could require them to attend five school meetings, one combined activity, one service project, and compete at regionals. While there might be specific requirements for students activities per the CTSO, you are allowed to choose what is required of your members. This can give them an actionable goal to work toward and promote their involvement.
  • Choose your guiding values

    • This is something you could do with your students upon inception, or something you guide them toward at the beginning of the year. For example, you might want your students to demonstrate honesty, follow-through, encouragement, and inclusivity.
