26 Learning Styles
People tend to prefer to learn by different styles (modes) of instruction. Some prefer to look at pictures, listen to audio instructions, read about a topic, or learn through practice. To the best of our ability, this course has been developed to accommodate those different learning styles. When possible, instructional material is made available to students in different styles (modes). It is important for students to understand what type of learner they are so they can focus on the instructional materials that align with their preferred (or secondary) learning style.
The next chapter has more information on the topic and a link to an external website that will administer a free VARK Questionnaire.
