11 Attendance

For ESET 1120, one (1) unexcused absence is permitted during the semester. Each additional unexcused absence will result in an overall grade reduction of 2% per absence.

An excused absence is when a student has received instructor approval prior to missing a scheduled class.

Students are not excused from completing assignments by due dates. Students will receive a zero for tests and quizzes that are missed during an unexcused absence.

Two Tardies = 1 Unexcused Absence

1-10 minutes late = 1 Tardy

More than 10 minutes late = 1 Unexcused Absence

COVID-19 Accommodations: Students who are ill or who have ill members of their households should not attend class in person.  Accommodations will be made for students who communicate with their instructor prior to missing a scheduled class. Doctor’s notes must be provided for accommodations. Students who have been exposed to or tested positive for COVID-19 will follow the University and Southeast Idaho Public Health guidelines.
